Control-Alt-Del

If you have been around a computer for any length of time you have probably heard of or maybe even used the "Control-Alt-Delete" keyboard combination at one time or another.

This command, much like the button pictured here, was designed to make things, well, easier..

The "control-alt-delete" command is described in wikipedia:

"Control-Alt-Delete" is a computer keyboard command on PC compatible systems that can be used to reboot the computer, and summon the task manager or Windows Security in more recent versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system. It is invoked by pressing the Delete key while holding the Control and Alt keys.

Plain and simple, this command is one of those "When all else fails" actions that lets us "start over" if you will and bring our computer out of the "stagnant" stage it is in.

Wouldn't it be great...."AWESOME" if there was a "Control-Alt-Delete" for life. What if we had some "combination" for reseting everything and starting fresh?

Well...Good news! We do....and it actually works better than the "Ctrl-Alt-Del" command.

In the book of Matthew in chapter 22 Jesus gives us the combination: He was asked by a sadducee what is important to God:

"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?"

Jesus Replied: "YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'

"This is the great and foremost commandment."

"Ctrl-Alt-Del" = "Heart-Soul-Mind"

I am not trying to preach religion or say that if we do this we can magically be rescued from crack.....However, as the wikipedia definition implies:

Ctrl-Alt-Del is used to reboot the computer, and summon the task manager.

If we use the Bible version of Ctrl-Alt-Del we can essentially reboot our lives in any situation and "summon" the power of God.

The overall result of using Ctrl-Alt-Del on the computer is this:
"interrupt the operation of a malfunctioning program."

If we are using crack, we are most certainly "malfunctioning" and the only way we can truly "help ourselves" is by taking some kind of "action" to "interrupt" that process.

I have heard people claim to have gotten clean from crack without turning to God. I suppose it is possible, but not advisable. I know for me, there is no way I could have gotten and stayed clean as long as I have without calling out to God.

Calling out to God is not enough though. To gain true freedom from crack and begin the process of living the remainder of my life with true freedom, I had to use the biblical "Ctrl-Alt-Del" by taking advise from Jesus as he described in the book of Matthew.

"'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'

Without this, I leave the door open for the enemy to cause my operationg system to hang up with no hope of "rebooting"
