| Desperate Yet? |

When a person is a non-using victim of crack cocaine the feelings of confusion, betrayal, and despair can be overwhelming.
The number one thing we hear from the non-user is "I just don't know what to do." That is actually an understatement. When the person you know and love starts using crack cocaine they aren't the same person anymore. The person you may have once known as honest, responsible, reliable and loving will now look you in the eye and lie about anything in order to get away so he can use crack. Money begins to disappear.
Jobs are lost and things as simple as brushing their teeth are forgotten. If you are a non-user of crack cocaine and are here because you are at a loss about what you can do to help someone who is using, you are not alone with your feelings. There are many things you can do to help the user, but the bottom line is, the user will not stop until he or she absolutely wants to.
The non-user has to be very careful not to enable the user by continuously taking them back in and forgiving them only to see that person turn around it do it again and again. You can love them, support them by showing them things you have found that may help, and pray without ceasing, but at some point, if nothing is working you may have to do something drastic to get their attention. Tell them to leave. Call the police. Take their money and car. The main thing is you cannot make it easy for them to use. My websites are full of information that can help the non-user with what works and what doesn't. I encourage you to read everything you can.
